This book (In mummy’s cloud; An Introduction to cloud computing) is the first in its series of other technology books for kids to come (see list of future releases below).

This book takes you through a playground containing resources used in cloud computing and gives you a basic introduction to those services in a fun and playful manner. Familiarize yourself with these terms as the next parts of this series will deep dive into the main components of the resources in the cloud.

This was inspired by true life events with my daughter Haneefa.

A very curious little one and a firecracker to say the least, has heard mom and dad talk a lot about the cloud and she wanted to go to the cloud.

One day she reaches out to mommy, and she asked if she could go to mummy’s cloud, so mommy said yes and her sister asked if there was a playground there. the next thing she asked what kind of playground she has that mommy starts thinking of a way to tell her the story, so I made up a story and told her. later that night after we read the bedtime story Haneefa said she wanted to hear the story of the cloud, So we had to find a way of telling her story of the cloud and this became her bedtime story. that is how we thought to document it as a bedtime story book for them and then eventually it became a project where we thought not introduce them to all the terms and resources and technology in the form of a story book. Well, here we are today.
